Description: This is a suggestion for an improvement to kde PIM suite, mainly to the calendar app.
It would be helpful if you could setup an option for the calendar to go out to a weather source using a zip code and place the conditions on the current day and save them as a record so you can go back over time an follow trends. This is useful for businesses that want to track the impacts to their sales. Adding an icon next to the condition would be helpful, a sun, clouds, rain, etc.
KDE-Apps is a place for content that is supposed to be consumed by users, whereas it doesn't play a noticable role in the development of core KDE projects like KDE-PIM.
As a consequence, feature requests like this one should go into the issue tracker at bugs.kde.org, not here. If you post this on KDE-Apps, chances are good that
1. the developers don't get to see this at all, and even if they do,
2. a page like this is not suited to keep track of the status of this feature, so it will likely be forgotten by the devs.
Please contribute your idea using the standard facilities at bugs.kde.org so that it has the chance to make an actual impact. Thanks!
You make a valid point, but this is also a good place to judge the merit of ideas as they relate to kde which this does.
I believe a whole lot more end users come to this site then say the developers site so it makes sense that this is where I want to garner my responses from, from users like myself.

After I have gained insight as to whether or not this idea has merit then I will post it as a bug report. But thanks for your input
We have outside fairs in my villiage. I have to go to weather.com all the time to check the weekend weather. This would be perfect. Hopefully it will update itself regularly yes?
