but not on the system i have, if kde can somehow be output to a mono graphical lcd, over serial, i'd grab, quicklike. could be ok with a gumstix, though i'd probably want to put together something a little more capable.
I fail to see the eye candy. :-(
Heh....Welcome to Macintosh... ...circa 1984. Actually, it reminds me of GEOS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:GeOS_Commodore_64.gif It also harks back to the Apple IIGS. Cool though. ;-)
but only on a resolution of 200x300 :D
any way to make KDE really like this?
Well, a joke for sure. Albeigth I might use it :) How about an amigaOS 3.1 Style?
This is great! I needed a good laugh to start the weekend off. The blue cursor is the perfect touch. Bobby
I did all my college work on a C64 running GEOS, looking forward to this :)
OMG... the good ole' days... C64 totally rocked my childhood :">. I had a black-green monitor and GEOS was all green-ish. Perhaps a color variation would be nice? Seems kind of odd seeing it now just plain BW. When you think it first saw light in '85... It would be fun seeing KDE look like this :D
I think this image must have been garbled during upload or something?
If you dont like it dont comment. no need to insult his artwork and make him feel bad!
don't you think that the blue cursor is overkill? ;)
Thanks for the comment. Indeed i was wondering if blue was the right color ... of course you could use any mouse cursor theme, but it should really fit better into the default theme.
This is just wonderful! Thanks for the beautiful artwork/idea! :) I'm looking forward to have KDE 4.1 look like this! ;) LOL
I am sorry to say it, but this is simply AWFUL!
You just don't know what you're talkin' about :D GEOS rules :D I'd just setup a dozen workstations with such a theme and let the people scratch their hads for an hour, ROTFLMAO :D
