This theme ROCKS!
This is one of the most beautiful gtk themes I have ever seen. Good work!
I've been using SlicknesS for almost 2 years now, no problems...but now the new upcoming version of Firefox (3.6) is having a text color issue with it. The menu bar text [File, Edit, Help, etc] is black and all-but unreadable :( I filed a bug report w/ Mozilla as I never had this problem with FF 3.0 & 3.5. However, is it possible it's a problem with this theme? I haven't been able to replicate it with other dark themes, even the 'SlicknesS-black' variant. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532164
In some white GTK menus, white selections are made with invisible white text (eg. Banshee music list). I have also found that some menus remain light gray instead of following the dark theme while the text on the menus is gray or white as per the theme. This made it nearly impossible to read many menus (eg. smplayer). To fix these issues, I found ~/.themes/SlicknesS/gtk-2.0/gtkrc and played around with it, tweaking various colours and observing the results. Eventually I changed the following: within style "default" {} bg[SELECTED] = "#FFFFFF" to: bg[SELECTED] = "#C5EBB6" text[SELECTED] = "#FFFFFF" to: text[SELECTED] = "#000000" within style "menu" = "default" {} bg[NORMAL] = "#000000" to: bg[NORMAL] = "#000001" The last one made the gray menus adopt the theme's dark background for menus. For some reason, the value can't be 000000 (black) but any other colour makes the dark menus tinted with that colour. For example, setting a 00C000 (green) value would make the gray menus use the theme's background but tinted green.
Is there any fix for qt4 gtk+ theme? There is white font in all menus.
I just changed the GUI Style in QT Configuration to Cleanlooks. Not nice, but better than the whiteout in GTK+
I use slickness about an year and i like it. I installed firefox adds "read it later" and i like to use it, but the problem is that the text is black and really difficult to read. Please help? :) p.s. firefox text is in white color. sorry for my english... thanks in advance

Thanks for this great theme. It's really the best I've ever seen on my screen :-) But: It's quite hard to resize the windows horizontally because of the missing border... Anyway: Thanks for this theme
Very easy to add. Just do a bit of research on making themes.

"fix the message of an engine "" not installed" How did you "fix" it? I just uploaded a new theme that uses a modified slickness metacity and I get the same error on Ubuntu Intrepid... "I'm not on gnome anymore." What do you mean? What are you on man???!!!
