This tar isn't a theme, it contains a script to install and set up the following things:
-Install Ubuntu Glossy Theme and set it. -Install BlendedSmallDoubleRound and set it. -Set the wallpaper. -Set the panels backgrounds. -Set the color scheme. -Set the nautilus color background. -Set the Tangerine Icons. -Set fonts to: Sans, size 9
It's somewhat based on a mockup from ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=437694Last changelog:
1.1 -Added a Tangerine version for non-ubuntu distros
1.01 -Corrected a little "bug" on the install-for-root.sh
Is there any way to port this install script to hardy? cause i really love this feisty theme, og maybe make the theme a tar installer, so we can use it in any upgrades, and just provide the panel-bg.png maybe??
Kind Regards MikeDK
My panel doesn't look like the ones in the screenshot (mine is one color and doesn't have the 3d effect). Everything else seems to look ok though. Any idea what the problem could be?
Hi! It's really nice theme but only at your screens. Using xfce it isn't brown but blue o_0. Could you look into gtkrc file and try to fix it? I added screen:

Could you please provide an uninstall script or tell me how to uninstall a .sh? I've switched my theme but I'm stuck with a brown background for Nautilus.
In Nautilus just go to Edit and click on Backgrounds and Emblems! And then just drag the reset pattern tile onto nautilus and the baclground will be reset! hope that helps!
Check the screenie!

I usually don't like this colors, but this is awesome, I really like it!! Much better than the ubuntu default skin.
I think a theme like this, but more green, could be a nice idea too!! jeje
Good Work!! =B
Saludos de México!!
Thanks!
BTW, You can actually make it green, it's compatible with the colors tab of Theme Preferences ;)
You would only need to change the wallpaper and you're done :)
Wish there was an edit button...
I really like your mockup too. That would turn Ubuntu into truly the ultimate OS. A combination of the great things from all OSs.
Thanks for compliment. I'm happy because it got such a nice reaction!
But, the mockup isn't mine, I won't take credit for other people amazing ideas.
See you :)
Dude this works is really good compared to the default ubuntu look, i think you should contact the artwork team and suggest to use this set instead of the plain orange look :)
I'll make the try, I thought about this before, but I wanted to see people reaction first.
And, well 77% in 2 days is quite nice :)
See you, and thanks for the comment.
one thing is the root theme the path is incorrect, or else I have no /root/.theme in my feisty install.
Other than that its pretty damn nice
thumbs up from here.
Kind Regards MikeDK
I love this theme, it is made of lot of small details that make a super theme of it.
But after the install, my scrollbars are not brown and in the .sh file there is 2 sharps (#) for a color

The theme is made for GNOME, because the color scheme and other little details are set using gconf, so the script won't work on XFCE.

HEY! Yo también soy mexicano. PS: We need an edit button xD
I second that. Human's default bars are boring. Having your bars with the normal Human theme would look awesome. I like it!

I can't reproduce this behavior :S
