Please be considerate and realize this is a GNOME site, so please put up themes that all Linux users, can use! This isn't Fedora-Look.org... LOL... :) Thanks...
If I put this in Fedora-look.org, it will appear here also. And...are you blind? This is a GTK engine dude, so the right place is here. Or you didn't see how many GTK engines packaged for other distributions are in this category also? Do you want a list of them, or will you search by yourself? Germán.
Any chance of getting source rpm ? I'm running fc12 on i386.
Done! Build rpm package as follows: $ rpmbuild --rebuild gtk-murrine-engine-0.91.0-5.git20100723.fc13.src.rpm Good luck!
it works! thnx
can we got the src.rpm for gtk-murrine-engine-0.98.1-1.git20101004.fc13? thanks.
From now on sources are in the repo. Please browse my repo to get src rpm packages: http://db.tt/LNwfxwe Or if you have my repo installed, do the following: $ sudo yum update skytux-repo $ yumdownloader --source gtk-murrine-engine Good luck! German.
Just what i was looking for. thx alot
of thanks to you :) I couldn't find the source on the official murrine site, only .90 and not .91, and you saved the day :D
You're welcome! German.
Thank you for this, it's great. Just one question: what icons are you using in the second screenshot on the panel (the grey ones)??
Hello Mario: Those icons are colled Token and they are here: http://brsev.deviantart.com/art/Token-128429570 Cheers, German.
Hey, this is awesome. Thanks a lot! I used this to try a theme out to see how it looked on Fedora. Just one comment/question. In the Ubuntu package (git20100323), checkboxes and radio buttons in menus look like this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/185397/murrinefedora.png But with any previous build in Ubuntu, or using this Murrine build on Fedora, they are bubbly and colored in with the selected background color. I didn't think to take a screenshot when I was using it, I apologize. But it's similar to this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/185397/murrinefedora2.png I didn't know if this is something I messed up or could change on my part with an option through gtkrc or what. Anyway, thanks again. This helped me out a lot, and I really enjoyed Fedora. I'll have to try it more. - Darin
Hello Darin: I'm not the developer of the engine, I'm only a mortal Fedora packager :-) Please contact the developer of the Murrine engine here: http://www.cimitan.com/ Cheers & good luck! German.
Hi gracca, you know, in the end last time it didn't work for me, since you updated it I decided to give it another try but again it installs just fine but all murrine themes stop working afterwards. So I can only think of one thing, different versions of Fedora?, which Fedora are you using to compile these rpm? I'm still stuck on 11 :$ and maybe that's the reason. Thanks.
Actually, I use Fedora 12 to compile the packages. I think I should have said that before. Sorry, it was my fault :-( But the previous version, did it work for you? If so, you can still use that version. Un abrazo, Germán.
Oh I see, I'm not sure if it's actually that but I may use it as an excuse to finally upgrade to Fedora 12 lol The previous didn't worked for me either :( anyway, thanks for your reply, if I upgrade and it works I'll let you know and also give you the + I owe you lol See ya ~
Okay :) as I promised here I'm back to give you +1 It worked like a charm on f13, thanks!
Nice that the 3 packages worked for you! Thanks for your 3 comments :-) Cheers, Germán.
it says not found T_T please re upload, thanks
now it's working lol gonna try it, thanks a lot
Al tiro po! hehehe! :-) You're welcome!
Thank you so much for doing this. I had seen a lot of great themes lately but couldn't use them due to the fact that I was not running Ubuntu. You have made it possible and I appreciate the work you put into this.
Same thing happened to me! You're welcome!
Very useful, thank you very much!
