Description:
Zee!

Big update! Read the changelog.

This theme is heavily inspired by Elementary(DanRabbit). When I installed Elementary there was some things i didn't like about it., for example that it uses the Aurora engine for some parts and uses way too dark colors overall. The biggest no-no for me though was that Elementary is made to be used with a dock, so for me who uses standard gnome-panel it was a turn off to see how ugly it was when not using a panel for window management.

The Metacity is just Elementary, I've only modified the titlebar as I don't liked the shading thingy going on with the title of every window.

As an icon theme I suggest you to use MeliaeSVG. It can be found here:

Well thats about it, download and test it! Report any bugs to me. I am working on improvements every day.

How did you get that transparency? Using your theme I do not have transparent tooltips....

Simmeson

Do you have the latest Murrine engine installed?

sora

I am supposed to.... my version is 0.91.3 (derived from synaptic)

Simmeson

Hmm, that is really strange since I'm using the same version of Murrine and it works flawless here... Do you use the compact or the standard version of Zee?

Hey, i like a lot your theme, and like so much the firefox missing menubar. Where the firefox menubar goes ? and how do u do that ?

Simmeson

Thanks! The Menu in firefox is a addon which can be found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/addon/1455

Looks neat though my question isn't related to your theme. How did you do to get the cover desktop plugin working? Are you using rhythmbox 0.12.6?

rodgerSan

ok I've found out by myself that it works only with a picture located in the same folder and not with embedded album art. A shame...

Simmeson

Thanks anyways :)

rodgerSan

Thanks to you!

I like this theme a lot, but the menu bar is simply just plain black text on a white background which doesn't integrate into the overall theme at all. That's quite a deal breaker.

Simmeson

I see what you mean and now I'm bothered with it too ;). I am working on some new colors for it now and will upload a new version soon.

Simmeson

The latest version uses a more subtle color, try it out and see what you think!
