What is Azenis I hear you say? Azenis was originally a windowblinds theme created by J.J.Ying, now in its second carnation it has become one of their most prominent themes with almost 200,000 downloads. It has also been ported to KDE by Ezy where it has proved equally successful. I then created a version of the theme for Gnome and it also seems to have done quite well. This is an orange version of the original port that i created for Halloween 2009 at the request of Karmicbastler.
:

cool 4...great !!!
Your splendid theme is my favorite for quite a while now (see my post above). These last days I am trying to get familiar with KDE 4, and guess what, I'm missing your theme. So, could you possibly produce a KDE 4 version. That would be awesome. Thanx.
Im glad you like it, unfortunately im not a KDE user and consequently have absolutely no experience in creating themes for it, although if you can find anyone up for the task they are more than welcome to give it a go =)
Always a joy to see your work !! new or updated !! A true pleasure !! It is true artists like yourself that make Linux a force to be reckoned with , with so many themes, icon sets, wallpapers,Ect. and different flavors you can Taylor your favorite distro to your harts content, without artists like you,and others this would not be possible !! Thank you for your great and outstanding work!!
As always johnny your comment has put a smile on my face. Thanks again =)
I really love your work. I have used almost all your colors but this one I find amazing. I darkened the menu grey color a bit, but other than that, it is my current theme and it is here to stay. Thanks a lot, I always vote good for your themes.
Tyvm thats very kind. A nice idea with the menus as well. Thats the great thing about linux you can always personalise themes to make them your own =)
Just an idea, you can find e-card at http://www.halloween-2009.net/retrieve.php?cid=42 for halloween. This site allows for anyone to upload their own picture so they can send it out to friends and family with a message as a greeting on Halloween.
The Azenis family is growing and this one ROCKS too!
Thanks Ian =)
lookin forward to the icon-theme kind regards MikeDK
Thanks Mike, The Icon theme has actually been released now, you can find it here under the third link... http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Azenis+Icons?content=107544 enjoy =)
I think the wallpaper is way too small. I can almost count the pixels, so to speak. Will there be a bigger one online soon?
How big is your screen?! umm i may expand the Azenis Wallpaper Pack to add different colours and larger sizes in the future so that it suits more peoples desktops. Keep your eyes peeled =)
That's all I wanted to hear. Thanks
Hey jameshardy88: that's great. I have now the new orange version also sucessfully installed in the first try!! Thank you!! Go on with this wonderful work. I ould think of so many colors, that could be added: for example violett or yellow or pink or..... So you see, I love this theme!! Thank you again for this nie Helloween-Edition. Greetings Karmicbastler
=) i may try and make some other coloured versions in the future although i have got some other theme projects that i would like to work on for a little while as well as adding other components to the existing colour schemes. I like to make the themes very complete =)
