Ya that's true. Alot of people haven't heard of *BSD before. Kinda sad though really. I noticed it. I always notice FreeBSD artwork. Wish I was good with the Gimp and I would create something. I really do like yours though. This has to be one of the cleanest FreeBSD wallpapers I've seen.
I wouldn’t say hater’s maybe if everyone was voting bad or something and that doesn’t appear to be the case. This is probably more along the lines of people unaware what FreeBSD or BSD for that matter is as it’s never had a big marketing push like m$ or the Linux kernel/distros. Thanks for your kind words btw. I wasn’t sure anyone around here would be interested. I’ve been downloading stuff off of this site for a few years now and thought I should give something back.
