Bees work very hard, some tea helps warm them up. Leave her alone, she will wake soon.
I wrote the following license clarification when posting, under "other license" which does not appear anywhere, so here it is moved to changelog.
"I am taking the original poster at his word that this is GPL. I do see the copyright symbol and wonder if it's affixed automagicly to her/his prints or if there is some confusion."
Also: yes it should have said 1024, I run my screen at 1600 so I din't notice the size when editing it.
Jaykay has taken a wonderful picture; full of colour and light, balanced, emotional, poignant and humourous. I was just a little taken aback that it was not being appreciated. I thought the temporary addition of the wee cup would point to attributes I most admired in it.
Please be assured that I take no credit for this work, anymore than Pauline Kael could take credit for "The Godfather."

I do appreciate this. I believe most other people here do as well. The orignal photo was indeed released under the GPL, so you have all the permission you need to "tweak" it to your heart's content.
about a picture I took some days ago. Here it is: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=15193
beg your pardon, but this is not a bee. it is what we call a "hummel" in germany. so, no bee, no hornet but a big brrrummbrrrummbrrummmm-hummel. :)
You're right. It's a bumblebee.
Could you notify me before posting 'tweaks' of my original picture !? Still, good work !
errrmm.... you released your pic under gpl terms... i don`t think he has to talk to you before tweaking your pic. in order to make sure that this "doesn't happen again", you should choose another licensing. ;)
Hehe, great! Btw, your posting says 1280x1024, but the picture is 1024x768
