could you please take a look at http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=27260? it's not exactly the same but very similar to it and it's 1600x1200. i hope you'll like it :)
Most people run at least 1280x1024 if not 1600x1200. You can go down in size without a quality loss but you can't go up in size without it looking like junk.
