Amazing what one can do with random noise, the plasma plugin, and a couple of other plugins to boot. :-)
Come to think of it, after a short Christmas holiday I'll be installing Fink on OS X at work so I can use The GIMP as well as Photoshop. While it may be true that The GIMP isn't as full-featured as Photoshop, there are just some things The GIMP does better. :-)
Response is good so far; I'll upload a better-quality JPEG tonight (12/22/01) if I'm not dead-tired after a Christmas party.

Could you make one that doesn't use the lens flareish filter...it's very over used. I like the rest of it. :)
