Thats greaT!! Any chance for 1600x1200 res?
Unfortunately not. This wallpaper is based off of this image --> http://www.desktopia.com/cgi-bin/ImageFolio3/imageFolio.cgi?action=view&link=Female_Models/Helena_Christiansen&image=26800.jpg&img=&tt= which, afaik, is only avail. in 1024x768. I got the idea for this wallpaper when I saw a similar concept in a wallpaper. It was a B&W photo of 1/4 of a face (eye and nose) with the eye remaining colored (blue). I used the airbrush tool to simply color in the whites with a different shade and it turned out all right. So that's when I browsed around desktopia.com for other faces, and found this one, which seemed to me to fit as Chani. From there I used the KDE desktop tool to fade black over the face (I'm not that proficient with The Gimp, so I couldn't find an easy way to do it in there), and then colored in the eye. The text on the left is a single layer from a generated "Neon" logo (a mistake at first, from simply copying and pasting the logo without merging layers, at which point I found I liked this softer look anyhow). If you don't mind this quick hack (made it since there's too few Dune themed wallpapers), then I may post some more in the future. I'm thinking of doing one with Jessica (if I can find a good matching face) with some dunes faded in. Thanks for the interest :)
