Murrine Dark Neon
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
This theme is a modified version of Murrine Human Dark (part of Murrine-Colors) for GTK2. It has been recolored with rainbow colors (green, blue, pink and orange) while retaining a dark, yet usable background. The colors used in this theme were inspired by a skin for Winamp. That theme is not included and absolutely no components of it were used to make this theme.
You will need the Murrine engine (at least version 0.53.1) to see this theme's full potential. That version is available with Ubuntu 8.04.
This theme is optimized for XFCE. If you use this on Gnome, your mileage may vary.
This theme now includes a companion Metacity theme, seen in the third screenshot. For XFCE users, Hemoglobinus works well.
This theme does not include an icon set. (X)ubuntuStudio works best with it in my estimation, but any colorful icon theme will work well.
Instructions to modify the theme are left intact from Murrine-Colors. Check the gtkrc file.
Credit goes to perfectska04 for creating the Murrine-Colors theme set (including Murrine Human Dark) in the first place.
Please don't just vote the theme down and run... comment so it can be improved!
To-Do:
------
- Fix Gnome-specific bugs without breaking it in XFCE
- Create companion XFCE theme
