the top left corner image is the reverse of the top right one. it has a gradient.
i'm thinking maybe the image is too big and it only shows part of it.
any ideas anyone?
Great first theme! (Funny thing, my first theme was a dark theme too, only no color, but I did it in XP.) I see the problem. You might fix it by making the gradient fade to black on both ends. you can use the bilinar blend mode to do that. (in gimp)

does anyone know how to change the colours ??? i'm very interested in making a theme like this but only with blue instead of green ...
change the colours in the theme, or change the colours in the appearance prefs?
in the window u install the theme in hit customize and change the colours.
if u want to edit the theme's colours u need to extract the theme and change the images that make up the theme.

the problem WAS it only showing the left edge, so i fixed that.

i think the end was supposed to be the same as the left side was. i'll look, but fading to black is good, i'll do that, too. thx, padster
