KillBang Kazow!
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
KillBang Wow! was also created by tweaking and pulling some themes together, most notably Mira and Aurora Black Panther. So This one is a further tweaked version of those themes.
Also note, that the metacity theme is just LxG with a brushed metal skin instead of a glossy look. I will try to replace this when i get the time. It was merely what i was working with when i was trying to create this theme. His theme is here:

I removed the overused glossy buttons people are using and i tried something completely different. My buttons and active panel buttons blend in almost seamlessly to the background and a gradient makes it look like its popping up at you... but not glossy.
I hope you like it.
v0.8
-Changed tabs to make them more like the buttons
-Fixed panel buttons (made them more like the buttons)
-Changed check-boxes and radio buttons to make them like the ones on Killbang Wow
v0.7
- Added brushed metal background to the buttons instead of transpent gradient for easier readability.
- New scrollbar troughs (matches slider troughs)
- New tabs and notebook styles
- New resize-grip handle thing

you should make a metacity theme for this one, like the one on the brushed theme and it would be the best gtk ever ;) see ya
ignore that warning about needing another engine... i'm not sure why it pops up like that, but you don't need anything else. thanks for the kind words.
what gtk theme engine does this require. i have it installed on my 'mint' desktop but it says the required gtk theme engine is not installed and theme will not look as intended. i think it looks sweet but if i need a different engine then i want it because i really like this theme. now i'm looking for a really good wallpaper to go with it!
i like the black brushed metal. i agree the tabs need more work. i would definitely strive to make them original (not like everyone else's). i like the tabs in 'glassy blue' the hp theme because it creates the illusion there is a light above the selected tab. maybe you could make the tab appear more reflective or something. this theme really kicks some butt. take your time and keep working on this. rated good!!
realy nice update :) thx
Can you please tell what part of the Config file I need to edit to make the menu and bar icons a little bigger i found it in the one were its 16x16 was wanting to know what i could chang that too and if i did would that work... It's on my MCE box and i am far enough away from it its hard to tell what the icon is... Thanks
Hey i like the button change Good job bud...
This is getting freaking awesome. But the tabs needs a lot of work. Cygoku
thank you so much. ...and yes, i'm constantly working on the tabs and notebooks. i have some ideas in my head. i'm just working on transforming those ideas to GTK. once we hit v1.0, we'll have the greatest theme in existence! please help me by voting up my theme and sharing it with people.
Can you change scroll bar, like Mira?
what do you mean? I like my scrollbars.
Very cool theme! You worked hard! Thank you for your changed :)
In my opinion, this is one of the very best themes I have ever seen. And I have one question for you, what do you do on the gtkrc to put the glossy images in the boxes near the tab buttons on the screenshot? I want to learn how this work... Thanks in advance
Because it's black with brushed metal background? Just shut up, this theme is good, better than that shitty mac crap.

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aurora-Black+Panther?content=59915 just wanna tell you. Kind Regards MikeDK
Nice overall theme. 1: what is that font you're using? 2: I think you'd need to change the buttons. the text on them is barely readable. 3: Same applies to check and radio buttons
thanks for the comment. i will be updating the buttons and radio buttons soon. the font is "vibrocentric"
men..got to congratulate you...for making a wonderfull gtk2.x theme....keep working on it..
