Description: This is a GTK theme of the Platinum style from Mac os 9 for gtk2x. Ready for used in gnome.
Instalation: open the Appearance dialog and click on install. select the TarGz File and it will install. Then Press Personalize and select MACOS9 in the GTK Theme Tab.
Changes v2: Added some icons, solved the scrollbar and buttons.
Bugs: Firefox has problems with tabs and some icons, it can be solved with a simple skin.
Pretty decent knockoff, but I hated the Platinum theme even when I was actually using Macs way back when. I thought it was ugly then and spent a lot of time on sites like ResExcellence changing it, so I sure as heck wouldn't want to look at it now, LOL. :P
well, if you find a metacity Platinum theme, call me. but i was taked the screenshots from my desktop, and that windows decoration was been downloaded from gnome-look.

i just confused metacity with emerald, and of corse there is no os9 emerald theme, like that in your screenshot, on gnome-look.
and i am not a "stupid american" i'm austrian. my advise for you is: stop using drugs and consult a couch doctor !

could you please update this to work on MATE and modern DEs? I have trouble because the OS-X theme does not work anyore...

is not metacity, is the platinum Emerald theme.
