E17gtk is a dark Gtk theme with sharp corners, which is designed for use in Enlightenment and gives the elegant look of Enlightenment to Gtk3, Gtk2 and Qt widgets. Of course, it can be used with any GTK based environment too but it is not tuned to Gnome or any of its apps.Last changelog:

I've modified your theme a bit in order to dim the icons for insensitive buttons (in order to make them distinguishable in toolbars, for example), and I've added also overshoot and undershoot effects, and made insensitive check's and radio's labels black. If you are interested, I can send you the gtk.css (which I have also merged into one single file for better debugging). I don't have github account. Otherwise, I can also publish my version and credit you for 99.99% of the job ;)
I love this dark theme because it's both interesting and and with an excellent "legibility" for all items, which is not usually the case for most of dark themes (at most they're "either or").
Thanks for your comment. You could fork E17gtk. Except for a few apps, I don't use GTK apps but have kept E17gtk in my GitHub repository for anyone who might want to fork it.
10This theme offers the best combination of contrast, gradients, & shadow for GTK. The only change I'd make is restoring scrollbar buttons on GTK3 for consistency (I'm aware of the issues & the difficulty of this undertaking, terminal scrollbars & embedded scrollbars are the main offenders)
Thanks! Tastes differ. Frankly, I don't like scrollbar buttons. I have only a few GTK apps and use E17gtk with them. For Qt, I use Kvantum, whose default theme is very similar to E17gtk but has scrollbar buttons; however, that's optional and I've removed them in its other themes.
It's a long time I haven't used Enlightenment (because of its peculiar way of desktop management, which is inconsistent with many apps) but I like its dark look. So, this theme isn't specifically for use under E anymore.

After updating my Manjaro installation, getting gtk-3.20, and taking a look at gtk source, I found out that this time, Gnome devs made so many backward incompatible changes to keep their senseless monopoly on how gtk3 "should" be styled. Updating the theme for use with gtk-3.20 is possible but would waste hours of my time for nothing! To me, this is a senseless job I don't have the slightest reason to do, especially when I'm very busy with other productive jobs.
If you use Enlightenment, you could easily replace your GTK3 apps with Qt ones and use Kvantum's default theme, which is very similar to the default theme of Enlightenment.
Í'm also a big fan of your themes. I'm running manjaro lxqt with your kvantum theme. I realy hope the e17gtk will be updated to 3.20 so i can use it for my gtk3 aplication like pamac

yes It works fine I been using it for few hours under Gnome Shell 3.18.
The only issue I found is that the disabled icon only buttons, looks like normal buttons, the text buttons looks fine when disabled, not sure if this is happening only on some applications.

I won't remove this theme just for its gtk2 part.

Adwaita for Enlightenment?

Please do update this theme for GTK 3.20 - my current GTK theme that looks like Enlightenment is broken and looks like flat garbage with GTK 3.20
I'll start to work on it when gtk-3.20 comes to Debian Testing. It may take some time to know what (useless) changes are made in that version.

It is a pity, but I understand. I have given up with editing and creating gtk themes since gtk3.
