Description: Azenis Icon themes, made to compliment their Gtk counterparts, currently including Standard (Blue version) in the main download, a red alternative in the second and an orange version in the third.
These themes are comprised of a small base set of icons from the preface icon set created by dar0ckx and my own icons to extend it and make it more Linux friendly.
Anyway enjoy the themes, i hope you like them and let me know what you think =)
Some of the best icons ever made for linux. Unfortunately its old and has not been updated. Icon scaling and new applications have issues... I have been hoping for several years that someone would update this easily # 1 icon theme but my hopes have been dashed :-( lol lol. I still hold out that one day.... maybe one day... we will all get an update!
i have a fix if youre Downloads icon dosent work in ubuntu 12.04 in "~/.icons/Azenis Icons/scalable/places"
locate "folder-downloads.png" and make a link of it called "folder-download.png" problem solved :)
Hiya, hope your enjoying Linux. Hopefully this will help you...
1. Go into your home directory (folder) and press control + h (or select show hidden files from the menu).
2. Locate or create a folder named ".icons"
3. Drag and drop the unzipped file into this folder.

I am using the blue version of this icon theme right now and i have to say this is by far the prettiest set of icons i have seen on gnome-look. do keep up the good work! i found out that the ubuntusoftwarecenter is missing an icon for Fonts, and when you click games theres also a couple missing for boardgames, cardgames, puzzels, role playing, simulation and sports. also 'screens', under the system -> preferences menu is currently still missing an icon. other than that GREAT :D.
hello I have tried repeatedly instructions you give to receate archive, but many times also I always get the message "scalable" does not Appear to be a valid theme. is there any other suggestions to fix this? thank you sorry if my english bad
Awesome Icon theme. I think this should come as one of the defaults in Ubuntu. installing it is as simple as 1,2,3...I cant seem to find any "bugs" with it, though I've only been using it for a day. so far so good. keep up the good work man!

Yes sorry i was aware of this bug, this is due to my not doing a proper update to these icons since about 10.04 i think it was when the download icon first really came into use. I am hoping to fix this as well as update the themes to accomodate the other changes to the UI in more recent versions in the near future. found this as I was opening firefox to find out what the deal is with it crashes upon startup
with that aside
fix for it is to correct /usr/share/icons/Azenis Icons/index.theme . I did so (seeming correctly, or at least the error has been removed) thus:

My apologies. I am currently on a round the world trip and lacking both time and my pc (In fact this is the first time I have so much checked this site in months). It will be a fair while before I get back, but I do intend to return to "themeing", hopefully bringing everything up to date. Until then Im sorry I know manual fixes can be a pain :/
