I hate that Gnome (aping Apple) has mostly monochromatic icons. I was tired of monochromatic icons when I used to have a monochrome monitor... god knows how many years ago.
Besides the missing rhythmbox icon, I also noticed that the fifrefox icons are mislabeled--firefox is now simply "firefox" and not "firefox-3.6" etc. Also, I was hoping you could make icons for Abiword, GCstar, Google Earth.

I just installed ubuntu 10.04 and discovered there is 1 icon missing in Rhythmbox. Can you fix it ?

I have really bad GUI OCD and have been searching for months for an attractive, consistent, high quality ICON set and this is it. It's also very appealing on my netbook (whereas some icon sets look horrid when down-sampled.
Thanks for you hard work. This should be a default set of icons for Ubuntu.
This icon set is awesome! But...I have a problem...
Please guide me on how to workaround this issue. It happens every time I open something from command line. The message is the following:
(eog:7102): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory animations/48 of theme MeliaeSVG has no size field

This release was such a dramatic departure from previous updates, that originally, I didn't like it at all. However, after using it and seeing how complete the set was, and how well all the icons fit with one another, I was won over.
My one criticism, that I have seen at least one other person mention as well, are the web browser icons. They don't have any resemblance to the programs they are supposed to represent, and I hope that you end up re-working them. I also hope you update the banshee and virtualbox icons to fit in with the rest of the icons in this updated theme.
Anyway, thanks so much for all your hard work on this theme. You are truly a talented artist and your contribution(s) help to make Linux as beautiful as it is powerful.

I was thinking about re-drawing browser icons but I still have no ideas....maybe in the future I will get an inspiration.
I'm also completing the icon set adding some apps icons as well as mimetypes and devices icons.....
I don't know when I will be able to upload the next version....

Excellent concept, beautiful icons, but it bothers me some outstanding things. Firstly, missing several icons sizes 16,22,24. Second, some types of mime icon is missing. When you can gradually tune everything, so your icons will be the best that ever exists for Gnome. Good luck!
The artwork in this theme is realy excellent. Close to the best I've seen. Therefore, it makes me sad that so many icons are so corporate branded. Instead of Evolution, I see a GMail icon. But Evolution is not GMail. For Epiphany, I get something very, very close to a Safari icon - but Epiphany is not Safari! Iwould love to see some truly unique, original artwork - perhaps some nifty redoings of the official icons of the apps.

I love this theme, but I'm running into a problem. If I have MeliaeSVG selected as my icon theme and I open Gnome-Color-Chooser, CPU usages spikes to 100%. If I leave GCC open and switch to another theme (say, Humanity-Dark), the cpu calms back down. This is reproducible and may occur with other programs, but Gnome Color Chooser is the only one I've had problems with so far.
Thoughts?

The icon theme is now broken (at least on Ubuntu Mate 16.10). Can anyone fix please?

If I am not wrong it should be Zee GTK theme (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Zee?content=120310)
The icon of NetworkManager is not changed whether I use VPN or not. The Humanity has a lock when I use VPN.
I update my comment. VPN has a lock on the network-manager icon, but it's NOT obviously.
Maybe a KDE version in the future?
