Description:
Somehow I am still a fan of old green back-forward direction icons and I am one of those who still remembers why floppy means Save.

I miss those and while I find tango style great I do not enjoy blue arrows and blue home silhouette.

A year ago icon oldies were given a facelift, and now they are fabulous.

What a shame that they are buried as GTK stock icons and replaced by something else in each and every Gnome theme.

So I grabbed them from Gnome svn and packaged for use over 'gnome' theme. If 'gnome' theme is not your favourite, just change 'inherits' line in index.theme.

Enjoy!

Will this overwrite the normal GNOME theme?

ilishin

No, everything stays intact. Having put that into .themes you will get both :)

This is awesome, I'm using a dark theme and I wanted to use Fedora's default theme (mist based). But I couldn't see the arrows of the file manager. Thank you!

An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.

If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.
