try extracting the contents to /usr/share/gdm/themes
The problem is the tarball structure, you should tar up the theme direcory directly. Eg, you have:
Ubuntu-Etiquette/Ubuntu - Etiquette/
The first directory only contains the second directory, and should be removed so you just have:
Ubuntu - Etiquette/can't install this theme. There's a error Message that there's no GdmGreeterTheme.info file .... any suggestions ? Greets, Demo
