Hi all, I am a new on Zorin. And I don't know how to install a theme yet. Any help please tell me how to do it. Thank...

edgedev

I've copied them into the screenlet folder. I'm using a screenlet daemon in order to select them, but I cannot get them to show up. How do I fix this? What do I do with the config.ini file? Thanks,

fruitykiwi

I have the clock which looks awesome, but the other icons I have for like Clear weather won't work. What am I missing?

DogoDave

I first extracted all the files/folders into the .screenlets folder, but that didn't seem to work for me (I couldn't load or see any if the screenlets in the screenlet manager other then the stock ones). I then decided to put them into the usr/share/screenlets folder where I saw all the stock screenlets and was prompted to merge existing files and I did, but that didn't seem to help me either. If I right click on the screenlets notification icon and mouse over "Launch Screenlets" the expanded window shows a list and at the top all of the screenlets that are supposed to be with this package and the config.ini file, then there is a horizontal separator and then an alphabetical list of all the other stock screenlets. If I try to launch any of the ones in the top list (the ones from this package) I get an error that says "Failed to add <name of screenlet> Screenlet. Perhaps I made an error by merging the files and folders of maybe it was just the config.ini that I should not have copied over I don't know. When I open the config.ini file it only has these 3 lines [Options] show_in_tray=True Keep_above=True DO you know what the error is or if I need to edit this config file what do I change it to? I am running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS in case that changes anything. I appreciate your help I have the whole theme running so far and think it is superb. I just want to try these screenlets to see if I like having them or not.

heiserhorn

thank you for this package. to install i just need to copy everything in /usr/share/screenlets ? Mike

jameshardy88

Yes or alternatively just the .screenlets folder in your home directory, just make one if you don't have it.

heiserhorn

when i try to change the theme of the sceenlet (for example the clock) the scrrenlet goes trnparent. any guess?

jameshardy88

Hmm, is it just the clock or do other themes have the same problem? do you have the most recent version of screenlets? and are they saved in your .screenlets folder or under usr/share/screenlets?

heiserhorn

now is fine but I don't know what I've done..thanks

dorianTHEgreat
