When you release that custom icon theme ? as faenza flattr have no anymore dark decoration support, some panel icons are black with black background so they are unreadable.
You could easily change their colors with Inckscape because they are SVG. I just edited some of them for KvHybrid: not an original work deserving an upload.
I don't use KDE but if I ever decide to, I will be installing this theme. You have skilz. Have a great day!
Thank you very much :)
First of all thanks a lot for this great looking theme. second, i have a little but annoying problem which is that Dolphin just don,t change it's toolbar icons to the theme toolbar icons i'm using mint kde 17.1 and finally can you please send the background and the icon pack used in the screen shot
Thanks for the kind words! Could you please be more specific or show me a screenshot? Because Kvantum (or this theme) doesn't affect toolbar icons at all. The icon theme is a modified version of FaenzaFlattr (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/FaenzaFlattr?content=164770). The background is the air wallpaper from an older version of KDE but you could still find its PNG version in the folder /usr/share/kde4/apps/ktorrent/search/home/ if you install KTorrent. BTW, I don't think KDE 17.1 ever exists!
Thanks for the quick response, this what i mean http://s18.postimg.org/yjz52lkzt/Presentation1.jpg as for 17.1 its the version number of linux mint the KDE version used is KDE 4.13 sorry if my words couldn't be more specific and thanks again.
Oh, those icons belong to whatever ICON theme in use. You use Oxygen, so they belong to oxygen in your screenshot. The icons in my screenshot are from (a modified version of) FaenzaFlattr.
Thanks a lot tsujan and sorry for resending the comment its my fault

Do you have any intent to create a GTK3/GTK2 theme to integrate better withthis theme? Numix Archblue is already quite similar, so you could probably start there.
One of the reasons I came to KDE and Qt a few years ago was to get rid of GTK3 as far as possible. Having seen the disrespectful attitude of Gnome devs toward theme makers and developers several times (breaking their themes and apps with every gtk update), I have no motive to start making another gtk theme. You could find my old gtk themes at gnome-look.org and see my futile attempt to keep them working. In short, it isn't worth trying.
Fair enough. I would like to ask for a dark variant though? I am a huge fan of dark themes and this one is GORGEOUS! I thought that by changing my color scheme it would make this one a dark theme but sadly that is not the case, I suspect because KVantum uses SVG images to theme the window.
Yes, that's because background colors can come from SVG images and also because Kvantum uses its own color definitions (in the kvconfig file of the theme). I'll think about a dark variant in my free time. BTW, I like dark themes too. Kvantm's default theme is dark and you could also check KvDark and KvFlat on this site.
Kvflat is okay, but the default and kvdark are too..... buttony for me. This theme is honestly the highest quality plasma theme I've seen yet, and a dark variant would be excellent.
Yes, KvDark was supposed to be 3d. But KvFlat is almost exactly a dark variant of this theme. In fact, I made KvHybrid based on KvFlat but in order to show that KDE dark-and-light themes are now possible (with Kvantum). Perhaps you mean KvHybrid with its dark and light parts reversed? I'll experiment with that idea.
No I mean like KVflat but flatter without the glowy scrollbars and the like,
As well with a KVHybrid-like titlebar, something that merges in, and window borders that don't make the windows seem slightly popped out.
You could use KvHybrid's titlebar (Aurorae decoration) with KvFlat; the colors are the same.
Yes I am doing that at the moment but it lacks transparency support, and as well there is a tiny white outline that makes the entire window look slightly "popped out"
OK, I'll add a variant to KvFlat with the name "KvFlatter" when I have free time.
Thank you, I know you don't have to do that.
You can use Orion gtk2/3 theme by satya sahoo it match very close colors with kvhybrid. http://satya164.deviantart.com/art/Orion-GTK3-Theme-281431756
Yeah I only use exact matches. Even a little discrepancy is incredibly annoying.
It seems oxygen-gtk reads tooltip colors from kdeglobals file so those tooltip colors have to change to kvhybrid colors file itself.
