Gotta say thats da*n nice. Great Job.
great !
Where did you get the images in the lower left corner? (compass & maps) It gives a safari look to it. Fricken Sweet
Thanks for the comment. The maps and compass are just images I found on google image search. They're actually plasmoids on my desktop. The maps just look pretty, but clicking on the compass brings up my menu. I have created a version of the wallpaper with those on it. It's available here: http://xs131.xs.to/xs131/08381/wallpaper170.jpg
Looks really great. I'm using it now. I also want the pocket-watch clock from the screenshot, where did you get that?
The clock is just a picture of a pocket watch with the analog clock plasmoid from kde 4 laid over the top. Here's a link to the picture: http://img67.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tm5704mcsff6.png
Thanks. I'm on Gnome, but I made a theme for the screenlets clock out of it. Is the pic public domain or should I keep it to myself? With regards to your icons, are you aware of these: http://aiolorwile.deviantart.com/art/Icons-of-the-Library-Windows-C-79915833 ? It's .ico files for Windows so you'll have to convert them, but they'd go well with the theme. Cheers.
I wouldn't go redistributing that image. It's just something I found on Google images. I had come across that icon set before. I've even included a few icons from it. Thanks for the heads up though.
This looks beautiful! What icon theme are you using?
Thanks! It's actually a custom icon theme that I'm working on. I've only completed the mimetype set so far. I'll be releasing it in the future when it's more complete.
beautiful icons indeed. i'm waiting for the release
