Description: Another boring day at work... so I wrote a small script in PHP (propably not the best scripting language - but who cares ;-)) which converts the Trillian3 emoticons to Kopete compatible emoticons. Even Trillian's animated gifs are working fine! (tested on Kopete 0.10.2 under KDE 3.4.1). I have no clue in what order the emoticons under kopete are displayed - so, feel free to improve that!
I did a Trillian emoticon set for KDE some time ago, and played with the thought of uploading it here. - For that reason I tried to get permission from Ceruleanstudios to do so (via their support system...yeah I *did* get a license for TrillianPro). But I never got an answer ;)
Then I searched in their forums, and found statements saying something like "we don't want you to redistribute our (static) emoticons, but we won't sue you as long as you give credit to us (thus promoting Trillian)".
Unfortunately I can't find the posts anymore, they're well hidden...
afaik distribution of the *animated* TrillianPro emoticons is *not* allowed.

I love this one. I've never used any other theme for more than a minute. I just thought I'd say that. Good work with the porting!
Naaaaa Open Source will soon rule the World!!! I know that's a dumb comment. Yeah you might want to investigate that. it doesn't rule the world yet!
quite the opposite actually. there will be too many software patents for people to be able to write any code at all.
based on your comment under License - perhaps you should read the license of Trillian to find out if you're allowed to redistribute them
