Due the recent site's changement, the plasmoid cannot parse the data any more. I will rewrite it (i hope to find time soon...)

I have just discovered that on server we had still the version 1.7.4 Now it has well the 1.7.5

Good work! Just a comment; I'd like the plasmoid to be 'dockable' to the panel, as an icon. Let's say like 'Notifications'. Add it to the wishlist ;)

Hello thanks! I don't promise but surely i will try

dglent

As i use lxqt i modified the plasmoid to a systray application http://glenbox.free.fr/sansimera-qt/

In Archlinux, the text has the wrong encoding. I have both el_GR-UTF-8 and el_GR-ISO-8859-7 enabled in my locale.gen One other thing, the text doesn't rearrange itself properly on resize. When I resize the widget to have 500px height and 200px width, the text stays in the middle instead of going to the top.

I would also like to add that I'm using the Ubuntu fonts which contain Greek characters. The fonts look like they are iso encoded but displayed as UTF-8, if that helps.

Same behavior here. See screenshot http://i50.tinypic.com/6oeyoo.png

I did a very fast modification to convert the text to utf-8 but the problem is that i cannot test it to my system. Can you please try this: http://glenbox.free.fr/files/sansimera_utf-8.plasmoid and if it does nt work i will investigate it better. Thanks

I'm trying different settings but until now i saw that it depends on the width. Until a maximum width of 200 px the text follows the shape; after, as the width grows, the text descends to the middle, but i saw that other plasmoids do the same ... For the problem with the fonts, i have a disadvantage, because i cannot test it in my system but i try to understand why this happens in Arch. I don't know about other distros, i tested it only in Mageia 2. Please try the file in my comment bellow Thanks

Your modification works fine. The text has the proper encoding and as far as the text arrangement goes, it's not that bad. I would love some options and a layout which makes each event stand out more. Now they look like they are just text from a paragraph. Maybe a <hr> or some margins and a bold font on the year could help. Other than that, it's a very nice plasmoid :-)

Good news! thanks for testing it, i will update the version of archive too. I have thought about the improvements that you suggest, surely i will do it in a next version. The next 1-2 months i will not have too much spare time, i hope after to do much more improvements to the plasmoid. Thanks :)

These are great news! I would offer my help but I don't have time either, let alone my python skills are a little bit rusty :P Again, great job on this, much appreciated.

rangerGR

everything works fine now. Thanks for the update.
