This is an SVG file to replace the Elegance (https://store.kde.org/p/998875/) clock which was not working properly in Plasma 5.Just replace the one you have in ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/Elegance/widgets/It may work with other themes.

    I found the solution! You have to add 3 lines to the metadata.desktop file: X-KDE-fallbackPackage=org.kde.breeze.desktop X-Plasma-MainScript=defaults X-Plasma-APIVersion=2
