Sorry for taking so long to reply. They have white backgrounds when you preview those icons because those icons are .svg files. You don’t see those white backgrounds when you use those as app icons. - May 22 2021

I don’t have any video for making icon themes, but it’s not that hard.

If you copy new icon themes to .icons file while gnome-tweaks is already open, those new themes won’t appear in gnome-tweaks.

The fix is simple, just close and reopen gnome-tweaks and the newly copied theme will appear in gnome-tweaks.

Correction:
* You have to install (not I have to install) “User Themes” gnome extension in order to install shell themes.
Visit the link below to install that extension
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/19/user-themes/

Then you have to enable “User themes” via the extensions tab of gnome-tweaks or the Extensions application.

Then open gnome-tweaks (close and reopen if you’ve already opened it) and you’ll be able to change shell themes. - Sep 30 2020

I've just downloaded and extracted the mcOS11-GTK.zip file on both Ubuntu and macOS and it worked fine.I have no idea what causes your problem.

No. I don’t make download archives from git master. Archives from git master are zip files and those are huge (size). So I compress them by myself to tar.xz (still huge. But smaller than zip files) - Jul 22 2019

I have three separate GitHub repositories and I can put only one link for this icon theme.
That’s why I’ve linked all three GitHub repositories as external links in “Files” of this icon. But now I can’t see them in the files list of this icons theme.
Did you guys remove those external links?
It’s OK but I update all the things I’ve mentioned in the Changelog. - Jul 22 2019
