If I were you, I'd change the name to "Konverseen ;)

It's not a KDE app, so why Konverseen?

Yes, but it's a pure QT4 app and shouldn't be on kde-apps.org.
And that's also the reason why the locale files have .ts and .qm extensions
Btw. Have translated it into german. Will test it and send it to the author, if he wants.

Thanks for translation! You can send me it if you want! So, should I remove my app from kde-apps? Sorry but I'm new with linux programming!

If you want to keep it as pure Qt application, you can move it to qt-apps.org site. The kde-apps.org site is for applications what use KDE platform and so on integrates well to the Plasma-desktop or Plasma-netbook desktops.

Suggestion is always to desig the application for KDE platform so you can keep the application here ;)

Don't listen to the above person, it works in KDE, so should stay here. Not all apps need to be in some way integrated into plasma.

I do have a suggestion though. Could there be a way to take a source image and generate a icon theme? ie generate 16x16, 22x22, 32x32, 48x48, 64x64 and 96x96 folders? That would be a neat feature or maybe a good separate app to start on.

Point for this KDE-Apps site to exist is that here are applications what uses KDE Platform and not just Qt platform.

Pure Qt application belongs to the qt-apps.org site. That is its purpose to exist that users get pure Qt apps what works same way.

Here are all applications what use KDE libraries and KDE Technologies so user has seamesly integrated application for all KDE Apps.

That is just logical and pure fact.

 And BTW

by warnec on: Sep 7 2009

Oh, and what is the "loc" folder? Are these translations? If so, why aren't they in .po formt? (And in all cases I've seen already, the folder for localizations is named "po")

Translations aren't in .po format becuse my application uses only Qt libs.

 JPEG-2000 support?

by echoes on: Apr 15 2010

this page and the converseen website say that it supports JPEG-2000 but i can not open any JPEG-2000 files (there is not a JPEG-2000 filter in the open dialog and i can not drag & drop JPEG-2000 files into the application).

is this a bug or an oversight or something like that?

I've converted a jpeg 2000 image to png successfully. Converseen can open only images supported by ImageMagik. If your ImageMagick installation supports Jpeg 2000 format a .jp2 filter should appear in filters list
