Lightning Unified QtCurve
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
-----------------------------------------
Installation:
- Install "kde-style-qtcurve" from package manager
- Open System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Style
- Change Widget Style to, QtCurve, and click configure
- Import the file qtcurve-file you downloaded here.
Save and Presto :-)
You might need to log out and back in again for all window decorations to be updated.
----------------------------------------------------
Take a look at the KDE Color Theme I shared I while back:
http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php/Lightning+Unified+Orange?content=153606
That KDE color theme is what I am using in the Screenshots :-)
----------------------------------------------------
Enjoy :-)
--------------- 16/12-12 ---------------
- Nicer Progressbars, also animated now.
- Menus are nicer now, lighter, more fresh, look.
- Nicer buttons
--------------- 27/04-13 ---------------
- Thinner scrollbars (nicer when using borderless windows)
- Things are more rounded
- New tab-look
- Color shade for sorted column
--------------- 12/05-13 ---------------
- Fixed QtCurve window decorations for those interested in using that with this preset.
-- This update is especially useful if you're using different color schemes between programs, like digikam. Window decorations follow color scheme.
Otherwise, well - It has some refreshing window buttons :-P
( for those interested, the digikam color scheme can be found here: http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php/Lightning+Unified+-+digiKam+%28Fullscreen%29?content=155968 )
--------------- 31/05-13 ---------------
- Tweaked tabs to be a bit more gentle and blend in with the rest of the window better.
--------------- 28/07-13 ---------------
- Adjusted shadows, deeper 3D-feeling.
--------------- 20/11-13 ---------------
- Been working on Shapes, Shadows, Shades and box-details.
--------------- 04/12-13 ---------------
- Work a bit on List-Views, Docked Windows and pop-up menus.
-- List-view headers are softer blending better into window for a more soothing feeling.
-- List-view selections/selected objects have a more toned down appearance. Trying to be more indicating than focus-stealing.
-- Docked windows appear more like normal windows when unlocked.
-- Pop-up menus are a bit more transparent but lighter to compensate up for the color-loss while making them transparent. The result is pretty sweet.
--------------- 22/04-14 ---------------
- Have gone through the theme from top to bottom. Widgets have a bit of a new look and so does toolbars. Also gave windows a bottom-border in order to make them round at all edges. I hope that if you liked the earlier versions of Lightning Unified, the you'll love this version.
Happy Easter!
--------------- 06/05-14 ---------------
- Update for window buttons. entire buttons become colored when mouse over, gray scale for background windows.
Hope you'll like it!
Cheers / hackan
--------------- 08/05-14 ---------------
- Added a light border on top of windows, gives better edged/3D feeling to the window.
- Fixed a weird ghost-border appearing between titlebar and window.
--------------- 27/06-14 ---------------
- Ubuntu One filesharing has stopped so this preset hasn't been downloadable for a little while now, sorry about that. I uploaded it directly to OpenDesktop so now you should be able to get a copy of it again.

Hi, thank you for sharing your really good work!! It will be my default theme. Just a question, how to make docky trash work in KDE?
Great :-) Hm, my docky-trash is actually not working perfectly, so I am handling my trash in Dolphin. But it does display when I have trash and when the trash is empty correctly.
This is one of the better looking QtCurve themes out there. Great work! By the way, how'd you get the resize handle in the bottom-right corner of the windows? I looked through all of QtCurve's options and couldn't find a setting for that.
Thanks man, glad you like it :-) The resize-thing in the corner happens automatically when the windows are set to be borderless. So if you would tweak the windows-setting to have a border you would be able to pull the windows from any corner/edge.
good job, looks great
Thanks man, glad you like it :-) What color theme are you using btw?
I got the same question!
What is your question?
